Support Ethical Horse Rescue in South Africa
SUPPORTING OUR HORSES
At Cintsa Horses Rescue & Rehabilitation Centre, our beach horseback trails were once our only source of income. That changed six years ago when we launched a volunteer program in South Africa, allowing animal lovers from around the world to get involved in meaningful, hands-on work with rescued horses.
We are proud to be a service provider for Buccaneers Backpackers, a well-known international destination for eco-tourism and ethical travel on the Wild Coast. Unlike many organisations, we receive no government funding or sponsorship.
Our work is sustained entirely through income from horseback riding experiences and the generous support of our volunteers, who contribute financially by covering their own food and accommodation. Any surplus goes directly into our "horse kitty"—funds used for essential expenses like horse rescue, feed, farrier and dental care, veterinary treatment, and rehabilitation.
When you volunteer with Cintsa Horses, or book a horseback riding holiday in South Africa, you’re directly helping to rescue, rehabilitate, and care for horses in need.
